5 years ago l answered @millercarbon who posted the lyrics of a Joan Baez song “Strange Rivers” as a discussion.

I often play the Original Soundtrack album, “Sacco and Vanzetti”, lyrics Joan Baez, music Ennio Morricone. There is a three part ballad depicting injustice, prejudice and suspicion. The film was the story of false imprisonment, conviction and execution.

The social comment was typical of Joan’s writings. Check it out.

l have a thread running at this moment, “What’s playing on your turntable…. Does anyone care?” I have posted the Joan Baez music example as a challenge from @reubent to test the value of such discussions. Does anybody care to sample and comment?

Welcome aboard @mylogic . I'd like to think this thread is for all types of music lovers. I enjoy the comradery.

@slaw Thank you. It is surprising what can be considered music. Listening to Ennio Morricone’s Avant-Garde 1960’s - 1970’s experimental film music can be excruciating and impenetrable to some.
