Accuphase C2420 + A47

I own a Accuphse A47 to push Dynaudio Countour 1.3SE, I am intending to find a pre-amplifer to replaced the old pre-amplifier which is a tube one. On the budget wise, do you think C-2420 is a good choice.  My preference is clasical music. I like thick, solid, not too fast sound.

Dear Mr, Tecknik,

Thanks a lot for your reply. Since I have not visit here for a period of time. So, I  bought a C2820 3 month ago.  My opinion is that  JP  amp. seems short of punch.

Good day, my friends anyone want to help me by giving your opinion how well an Accuphase a 75 Would sound with a C 2420 all like good low in tight Thank you for your help Barry

bclower I would say it should sound quite good but this is faust168's thread. I currently have the C2300 preamp. Not sure what the difference between the models are but I am curious as to how the A47 drives your speakers. I have heard the A80 and up with the C2300 on Magicos and loved what I heard. Mind you they were 30k plus speakers. I am sure the A47 will sound quite nice with Dynos. The Accuphase sound is on the Warm side of neutral so it will not be overly fast but not bloated and muddy at the same time. I am thinking of the opposite of yourself. A47s or the A 80 to drive a pair of Proac D30Rs.  So i guess my interests are similar to bclower.
