New York Int’L Audio Show, Hilton Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, 10-26-25
Steve Guttenberg on Youtube (I haven’t watched it yet)

My closest friend and I went Sunday mid-morning/early afternoon (we both are Tubes/Vinyl/Floorstanding Custom Made Wooden Speakers (over many many years, we tend to hear the same good and bad things).
Happily it was not crowded, we could walk in, sit down, wait for a track to finish, request specific content, converse about this and that with exhibitors, many the principals, designers, most interested parties.
I concentrate on Speakers, you would need to ask the exhibitors what equipment they were using. I made no notes, didn’t plan on reviewing anything, this is just to share a few of my feeble memories.
Generally Vinyl sounded better to us than streaming, however streaming was quite good as you all keep saying.
- BEST of SHOW
Robert Lighton Audio, RL12 Speaker System, with External Crossovers

I’m 77, I’ve been to more than a few shows since getting hooked in 1973, heard some remarkable speakers, these are the most impressive speakers I have ever heard. We visited a second time on the way out, I yapped quite enthusiastically for some Podcast.
- Also amazing
Odeon Audio, Carnegie (Giant Wooden Horns)

- Impressive Floor Standers
- Triangle

- Legacy

- PBN Audio, I met Peter, what a fine gentleman. I had emailed him a few years ago, about one of his Groovemasters I wanted to add a second arm on.

- Innovo Luxe 1, unique edge mounted multi-woofers
https://www.innovoaudiodesigns.com/luxe-t1
- Surprisingly good for their Small Size
- Neil Blanchard Designs, Transmission Line, Tower 4T4
absolutely remarkable how much he gets out of his small/slim designs
- Tonian Labs, Small Stand Mount, extra tweeter on top

This is the best stand mounted speaker I ever heard, just outstanding!
And, the Technics SA-C600 CD Receiver mentioned below was his source/amplifier. I don’t need it, but I want one, shame it doesn’t play SACDs.
- Orchard Audio, Class D Amps, they had their amps built-into these self-powered speakers which were quite impressive, a bigger room would have been better.

- Other Stuff
- Wally Tools, yapped about Anti-Skate of course. I may get myself a tractor.
- Kirmuss Record Cleaner Machine, Charles Kirmuss was there, he is convincing, I will do more research on his site, bought one of his handheld brushes
KA-B1: Combination 1.5 M carbon fiber/ parastatic felt brush
- Isoacoustic Isolation Feet, I heard the difference in their demo on carpet
They had two pairs of identical speakers, volume matched, I think these Operas
https://www.operaloudspeakers.com/en/
One pair on their isolators, the other not, and a customer could randomly switch with a remote control. A duet with a female singer and Leonard Cohen, I could definitely hear a change in Leonard’s voice each time the customer switched, the pair on the Isolators sounded better to me each time.
- Technics SA-C600 CD Receiver
I'm guessing which version, here's a different model
