Best amplification for Magico S3 newer version on your experience

Yea, me too. I'm going to listen to both the S3 & S5 for the first time next week with top-end Luxman. May not change my mind if I fall in love! thanks!

I am a Magico dealer in the SF Bay Area and run the Luxman C10x Pre and M10x as monos, the D10X as DAC / CD and the NT-07 with the PD151 waiting.

I have the M2, S5iii, S3iii, S2iii, A5, and A1’s.  I am also a Pass Labs dealer with the X600’s, 250.8, 30.8, XP22, with INT250 soon to arrive.  McIntosh dealer with 1.25’s, 462, C2800, C12000, MA12000.  
 

We run the 509Z to the A1’s, XA30.8/X250.8 to the A5 and S2, and all the other heavy hitters to the S3, S5, and M2.  Each offers something quite different from one another. We often swap between these for various sonic characteristics.

Your ears will define happiness.

Aside from these mentioned, I am a Classe and Michi dealer too and also like the Delta Monos on Magico and had a preowned pair of D’Agostino Momentum monos and pre.  Also did quite well.

Point is, listen to as many combos as you can to find your happy spot.

If you have S3 highly recommend it after trying so many different amps 

If you don’t control S3 You Will never know what they do even near Field.
