Need help finalizing what speaker to get

Hi. I just got an RT85 turntable with a Schiit Mani 2 preamp, and now I'm looking to get some decent speakers to go with them. My original budget was around $250 but someone told me to hold out more for something better. I've got my eyes on some Wharfedales but still cant decide because I'm seeing mixed reviews talk about it being well detailed but at the same time too bright. My main goal is to get a grand loud sound because I want to mainly play it in a large open room. I'd like all my equipment to compliment each other so I have the rt85 with the M2 Blue, the Mani 2, and now I want some good speakers so that they all work well together but just need some help from real people to finally decide on a speaker. Thank you!

If you want loud and in a large room, you’ll need large(r) speakers.  Generally, the larger the speaker, the more efficient it is.  Small book shelf speakers are usually 83-87dB efficient, while big speakers, especially a horn design, like a Klipsch LaScala is over 100dB efficient.  Those aren’t inexpensive, though.

Are you open to buying used?  Also, what would your max budget be?

You can stay with with your original budget and get a pair of Sony SS-CS5M2 speakers (around $250). They sound pretty good.

When you have some extra cash, add this Verafi Caldera 10 subwoofer for $200.

You should be good to go, thereafter.

I'm not sure how to respond to individual messages so I hope this works lmao.

But if it's over 100dB, I feel that would be overkill. I'm not even sure when my guitar amps at the max I play it at, its even that loud crying

And I'm fine with buying used but I'd much rather buy new because I just have poor experience with buying used that come with their own issues. And I forgot to add my budget my bad. I plan to spend around $500 since that's around the same price I paid for my turntable, but once again if I should wait a bit more, I will. I think the max I'd spend is around $750, but if the price only slightly breaks that, I'll really have to want that one

Yeah sorry I forgot to add what my new budget was after mentioning my "old" one lol. I'm also now noticing that somehow I forgot to mention that I want a detailed sound especially with the M2 Blue so that it's close to sounding like I'm in the room with the musicians.

I am looking into getting a subwoofer with the speakers after I test out the old one that we have first so I'll be looking into that one too thank youl.
