@moonwatcher the 1000 to 3 remark is hilarious, but consider the source.
I have an older Node 2i that I am replacing soon, so no cares either way, but if I were to guess I would think the 1000 to 3 comment may not be that far off the mark.
Auralic out of business?
My apologies if this is old new but I didn't find anything in the forum. I watched the recent British Audiophile video review of the Lumin U2 Mini and he mentioned that Auralic was no longer "trading" which I take to mean out of business.
Has anyone seen something on this?

To answer the very first reply in this thread from user thesummit. Yes this is the brand behind the Taurus headphone amplifier. Which was very highly regarded back when it came out. I remember Tyll Hertsens of Stereophile and Innerfidelity using it as his reference for a while. Along with the matching Vega DAC which was also very popular with several of the more well known reviewers at various publications. I haven't kept up with the brand since then but at one point they were making some excellent hardware. |
