@fastricky Here are some very seriously engineered pro horn speakers. No horn in the home audio market ever caught up with the likes of these at their relatively affordable prices.
Pioneer XY-3B (designed by TAD)

This is a beast and there’s not much like this out there.
Danley Sound Labs - Synergy Horn SH69
It is a unique array of two 12 inch woofers, six 4 inch mids and a tweeter. You can read the white paper, etc.
(there are many others in the SH line, depending on where your budget lies)

Pair them with your subs and paint them to your color of choice.
These type of higher end pro audio horn speakers can sound quite insane with your audiophile electronics.
So now I’m quite intrigued by the thought of a external horn design - seems like a great alternative to the OBs and a format that would work well to provide the forward large soundstage I seek for the type of music I mostly play (a box/Klipsch sorta speaker is not of interest to me whatsoever). The Simco One’s are ideal - I absolutely love their look and know they would look great in our room, but the cost is bonkers and there’s no info/reviews on sound. I would absolutely consider the Klipsch+Ojas collab but they’re sold out. I started another thread about Shinjitsu speakers which fit this criteria, but again there’s just no info/credible reviews out there.
So what does the Audiogon Community suggest? Feel free to offer up any suggestions, perhaps something I haven’t even considered or know about. Thanks in advance - Rich
