any ATC experts here? Im considering SCM19's vs SCM20PSL Pro Mk2

could anybody comment or guess the difference in sound? 

It appears the  SCM20PSL Pro Mk2 is also made in active and more costly home versions so 4 total ATC offerings I guess in this stand mount segment

The 20s use the same drivers but are set up differently than the 19s.   19s sound "warmer" than the 20s but in all other respects offer the same basic presentation.  In a studio, the 20 would be preferred for its more accurate and flatter presentation.  In a home where where people tend to listen at much lower levels, the 19 would sound more pleasant and a bit prettier.  The 19 passive also has a more contemporary look to it.  The new 20 Classic Active can be ordered a larger variety of furniture grade finishes.  It has gotten a large number of excellent reviews over the past year from the audiophile press that discuss its specific sonic virtues in detail.
