How to dispose of your system?

My Wife knows the Value of the JCB 3CX in the used sale market once she has had my compulsive hoarding crap moved on to others with my affliction.

Good News is I stopped hoarding animals, which does make life a lot easier, all those mouths to feed during the winter months can become a very very tough time for all, and strip any plans for a Holiday very quickly as all spare funds are going straight into the bellies of the dependents.

A lady I hardly knew was making similar plans for own time when life ceased, I was asked if I would take on her Herd of Shetland Ponies.

Making Plans for Manufactured Items is very very easy.

A local farming family who owns substantial assets, had the Patriarch of the family dedicate substantial time in his life to a rare breed cattle and had a very big herd. It was known a Prize Bull can easily appreciate £30K at the right Auction.

Recently the Patriarch Died and the Cattle are gone, as has most of the Farms Assets. Thinking that ones passions and interests matter when they are gone is in many many cases is fantastical, if easy money is not attached.

This is an excellent question, rvpiano, and one I too have struggled with. For those of us with physically small wives, it’s a real issue since the equipment is often too heavy for them to box up and move. That makes the TMR option difficult if not impossible. So I turned to my favorite dealer for his eventual assistance in selling off the equipment. And he was all too happy to oblige! I prepared a spreadsheet so my wife will have some idea what it’s all worth. And hopefully the eventual buyer will enjoy it all as much as I have. 

Been thinking but not obsessing a long time.

When your gone, your well and truly gone.

My kids will be well off when l kick the bucket, unless the do dally nursing home looms.

l have been selling off all the “collectable” clutter l will not listen to, read, use or now value as much as l used to. This has also been self funding wonderful holidays.

If my offspring don’t want to bother getting the best price liquidating the things of value left…. It’s their decision and loss. No lost sleep on that one.

I Have 2 two executors on my will. I have no Kids or living relatives. Just me with a ton of Hi-Fi gear and a repair shop in my home withe about 40K worth of test equipment. When I go ...it will all  be sold by the executors with my home and my classic car and daily HUMMER H2 Driver. 

All the money will go to St Judes Childrens Hospital. I'll be dead and won't miss any of it. But just before I go in my last breath I will think of all the great Music and repairs that I have overcome and finished. I will Smile. 

Just forget about your equipment and Check out with piece of mind.

If know one in the family is interested in the system sell it to The Music Room and get cash. I’m sure they would be interested in that. 
But seriously when we’re gone you’re not going to care. I went through this creating my will with my lawyer. I realized I was trying to control how my daughters used what money is left, from the grave. 
I talked over with myself and thought it was a good idea. Then I realized I was talking to an idiot.
