Quick Eversolo T8 Review

After relying on an iPhone using the camera adapter to allow for hi-rez streaming (did this for literally years), I broke down and ordered the new Eversolo T8, which arrived today. This is connected to a Bifrost 2/64 dac. Set up was effortless with no problems at all: connected to wi-fi, mirrored to my iPhone using the EversoloConnect app, chose all of my settings, and began listening to Qobuz via Qobuz Connect phone app all within 20 minutes of unboxing. It is an absolutely beautiful device, and man does it sound fantastic. This streamer is badass...highly, highly recommended.

I too am interested in the eversolo T8 and like many here am clueless as to the reliability of eversolo's customer and product services.

However I was surprised to find the US distributor forte here https://forte-distribution.com/. If you scroll all the down to the bottom of the page you will see 'dealer locator' in the menu column and I was surprised again to see so many dealer distributors all across the US. In fact the dealer distributor closest to me actually has a brick and mortar store that been in business for over 30 years.

I called the store to ask those specific questions an 'Ed' told me that if they can't fix whatever the problem is there is an eversolo based repair shop in the US.

He's also told me they have been a seller/distributor for about a year and a half and have not had to ship any eversolo products to the eversolo repair shop as of yet.

I do wonder has anyone had to send an eversolo product to be fixed and what was the outcome? If I do decide to buy one, I'm going to have the local distributor set it up with my dac in the store. And if not, there will be no sale, period.

That audiophile style read was a bummer indeed. I guess I'll be waiting for Laiv to come out with their streamer since I have a Laiv dac.
