This is an offshoot of the jazz thread. I and others found that we could not talk about jazz without discussing other musical genres, as well as the philosophy of music. So, this is a thread in which people can suggest good music of all genres, and spout off your feelings about music itself.

Mahler's Fifth might be his most popular. I was lucky enough to have heard it live this year with Dudamel conducting. I also like Mahler's First Symphony. It is his most accessable. 

I am now listening to an album of Caesar Franck's most popular music. I'd like to get to know more about him.

Beautiful piece of music beautifully played. Unfortunately I couldn't find Moravec's version of Qobuz. I'll look to see if i can find another pianist who comes close.
