Anyone in this hobby lonely like me and wish they could “hang” with a fellow audiophile?

I had to ask this question. Because that’s where I’m at currently. I created a nice little smartly tuned system that I’d love to play for others. As well as a knowledge base that’s strong enough now to listen in educated fashion to others’ systems as well. I just wish I could invite someone to listen, or vise versa. But all my audiophile friends are states or continents away. I live in a small town in east coast Florida and just don’t know anyone in my region who’s an audiophile other than dealers.
Any thoughts?

Will post system in next post

Thanks!

@oldrooney He didn't elaborate on why he didn't like it any more but i'm guessing part of it is that he's sick of singing it? [And so is his wife?]

But that brings to mind that every audiophile journey (IMO) begins with the love of music and it's only the gear part that makes an audiophile lonely--i can always share music with friends on my system even if they have no clue about the gear--they sure seem to enjoy hearing the music on it.

Oops!  It appears I am the one who missed the point.  LOL  I've not only heard the quote but just experienced in action!

Anyway, as per your request, my rig:

Kuzma Stabi XL DC TT w/ a Kuzma 14" 4 Point arm and a Koetsu Rosewood Signature Platinum cartridge

A custom made phono stage from Luna Cables in Canada, which replaced my Naim Superline/Supercap.  (Huge improvement)

Naim Statement mono block amps and the Naim Statement preamp.

Naim CD555 w/ 2555PS DR'd

Revox R2R (PR99 Mk 2)  custom refurbished

A full loom of Luna Noir cables (interconnects, XLRs and speaker and power cords)

Grandinote Mach 36 speakers, custom built for me.  They are the only pair in the world.

Very lonely hobby for sure, would be happy to start one, I live just north of LA county in Ventura county. Right next to Ronald Reagan library, any who’s close let’s synch up and listen to each others system.

@newton_john , the tower of Babel was the prototype mho...
Now, popup ads, the news, todays' crisis, yesterdays' surprises.

A solitary respite, ones' not-so quiet space to restore the drive to do it some more.

We have our own methods and means to create our own stage where and when we find ourselves.  The odds of finding the other people that you are to them is vanishingly small, as it is for me in WNC doing what I do on a bootstring.

Keep your drivers dusted.... ;)

...and my door is always open for a foray in fidelity.  Blue 🌹s.
