Anyone know a custom woodworker who can make a case for a vintage receiver?

It's impossible to find an original one so I'd love to find someone who can make me a case for my Scott 222C.

a lot of options pop up on eBay ’scott wood case’ search

Maybe, they never offered wood for that specific model, which is why you won’t find a model specific wood one.

Pay attention to the bottoms, they had holes for ventilation, and feet to allow air flow under/thru/out the top vents and back details vary also, depending on a unit's jack locations, which is why I made mine completely unobstructed.

Also, Bob Gasperetti, a long time professional cabinetmaker, and friend, here in Vermont, does beautiful work.

I have purchased a 15 drawer chest from him (highly figured Walnut case, Curly Applewood drawer fronts) and several Jewelry boxes.

He is now semi-retired but still does a lot of smaller projects.

Others offer cases for specific components that are less. They might be able to accommodate custom orders.
