Cartridge Upgrade?

I'm considering a change from an Ortofon Blue to a Rega ND5. TT is a Rega Planar 3. I'm happy with the Blue, just considering a change.  Does anyone have experience with both and can help guide my decision making here? I listen to a great variety of music at a wide range of volume levels. Thanks

I have to agree with you on moving to newer stylus shapes!  An unexpected side benefit I have discovered is that secondhand records seem to sound like new.  I think the longer contact allows the stylus to bridge the wear pattern created by elliptical stylii of yore

Like you, I was content with the sound in my system but just looking for a change. I went from a 2M Blue to a Leson MC high output cartridge.  Quite Happy with the change.  The company was helpful and easy to deal with.
