Quicksilver website works just fine

Speaking of Quicksilver, specifically the V4s.  Has anyone tried swapping out the supplies KT-88s with Golden Lion KT-77s?  Buying 8 is not super expensive but I’d like to hear from others that might have tried this.  I’ve been told the KT-77s are a little down on power but make up with it with a much more musical presentation, midrange to die for one dealer told me.  Anyone have any experience they want to share.  I’ve gone the KT-150s but still prefer the KT-88s to those for a more balanced presentation.  Cheers

Well, I also have the V4's too, but you did not tell us is what type of speakers you have and what is the model number. but I choose to listen to my V4's on my Khorns and because of the sensitivity rating @ 105db you can really hear how the amps shines, I have not tube rolled yet, but that is coming down the road, but for you I can't tell you what your ears like to hear.
