Moon 390 Network Streamer

Still evaluating numerous DAC/Streamers and had the opportunity to listen to Moon 390 Network Streamer. Any thoughts on Moon products in general and the 390?

Recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm coming a bit late to this conversation. But I wanted to mention that I just recently bought a 861 moon amp brand new. The retailer that I bought it from sold two that same week, mine included. Pretty impressive for a amp over 20 grand. I also spoke to another retailer before and they do sell moon products often. In other words, there is no slowdown at all in sales.

I love the amp. It looks so cool too. It's such high quality instrument. I've talked to support several times with questions as a new owner and they are always so nice. The 10-year warranty is so cool.

@dman777 nice purchase. The 861 is so nice.

I ended up with the 390 and 761. Not a bad combo, but would like a different network player.

i loved my old moon i5.3 and LP3, it's great to see a greek-canadian heading such a magnificent company, and i am now looking to buy moon again, although secondhand.

i note great comments on 390, which covers all my needs in one (beautiful) box. But i can't change power amp anytime soon, my arthur boxem is very clean and powerful , i just have this nagging fear about a transparent / neutral pre amp and class D. Although i don't want my music too "lush", so should be ok. Speakers are Sonus Faber olympica i with rel T5 sub.

would also be great to know what level of phono stage it is closest to.
