Credence Clearwater Revival, 1968, I believe, in the old Salt Palace, SLC. The warmup act -- Ike and Tina Turner. A strange paring of bands indeed. Tina was more than I could get my 16 year old head around at the time. Wild!

Fall 1962, Peter, Paul, & Mary, with a young comedian as an opener, a guy who did this “Noah” routine, Bill Cosby.  He was funny, and PP&M were very dynamic and simply superb.
