Tip for "randomizing" a playlist.

Hello all, We are opening a small retail bakery and of course it has to have awesome sound. My "Button Bakery Big List" has almost 1,100 carefully selected tracks and it's been fun putting it together for the last few months. Playing this Qobuz list on 'random' shuffle mode is terrible!  The same songs are always front loaded.
    A good hack is to sort the list alphabetically by track. While exactly unrandom, it plays as much more random sounding. Through Roon, it's always easy to resume where we left off so the entire list gets played over days.

For my new place an ASCAP license will be $314.50/year. Eggs: $120/case. Puts it in perspective, lol.

don’t understand why you keep coming with your blowback, but I suppose I’ll just do this one and no longer respond to you. Sure am glad you’re so proud of yourself.

Indeed I was agreeing, and attempting a bit of humor. We had a bakery in Michigan and I had music licensing in place from the day we opened. I remember having to contact one of the offices because I never got a little sticker for my window. I wanted something to show my customers that we were legit. Over the years Village Baker became known as a place with excellent ambiance, partly for the great sound.

For even better ambience, why not spin vinyl instead of streaming. Will be more labor intensive, but way cooler.
