I think the upper ranges are magnificently done with them, but perhaps at a cost in the lower frequencies so they lack that 300B fullness at times.

Since sound quality brought up, recently purchased WE to compare with Psvane Acme, after having an issue with one of the WE (lost vacuum) up and running with replacement, I have to say WE superior to Acme, greater resolving, transparency, harmonic development meaning more natural timbre, tonality or tonal balance amazingly equal, fully burned in Acme superior micro dynamics, a little more expressive, expect WE will improve here over time. Acme build quality superior, much more weight, heft, thicker glass, base more substantial.
