Stack Audio Auva Isolator

I just ordered a set of these. They are supposed to be better than the Iso-Acoustics or even the Townshend podiums for speakers.

Anyone try these yet?

@painter24 Thanks for the reply.

Like the reckless fool I am I've gone and placed an order for the 70s. I'm currently using Gaias.

If you get back to me when you're close to pulling the trigger I can let you know my impressions

I now have the Auva 70s under my ATC SCM40s (passive).  They replace Gaia IIIs and IIs (III at rear, II at front due to front-loaded weight of drivers).  For the record I have them on laminate-covered concrete ground floor.

I've added some decent and substantial upgrades over the years (QSA wall plates, Mutec clock etc), and while these have improved the sound, none have substantially altered the signature of the sound.   And then we come to the Auvas....

It's like I have different speakers.  Gone is the vivid cutting edge, and in its place is liquid, analogue sweetness with etched bass.   I often wondered why some described the SCM40s as a warm speaker - now I understand why.

I must admit that I'm still adjusting, and I do miss some aspects of the Gaias.  The PRAT seems to have suffered a little, and complex tracks (Vodiak - Stereolab) feel a little too chaotic.  The vocals initially felt a little veiled.  But overall it feels like Mr Music just knocked on my front door and demanded to be let in.  The sweetness of the tonality, and the musicianship of the players finally feels to have arrived.

I would go as far to say it feels like a full paradigm shift.  Some might have preferred the Gaias.  It's a subjective thing.  I'm very happy though.

Stack have an array of glowing reviews on their site, and I think this one sums it up pretty well:

I see this thread is a little old, but I wanted to chime in with my experience with Stack footers.

It is funny because I observed almost the opposite of @lollipopguild , yet we came to the same conclusion that the Auva 70s are an improvement. Probably has much to do with systems and maybe even more so the floor that they are coupled to. I have a suspended hardwood floor, Dynaudio Stand 6 and Dynaudio Heritage Special speakers. My Isoacoustics Gaia iii's are more smooth, warm and relaxed and I always thought they were an improvement from spikes. In contrast, the Auva 70s seem to have a lot more energy and vividness. They also have more of that wall of sound feeling with well defined imaging. As was said above, both products are good and I could see some preferring the Gaia iii's in the right system. For me, I like what the Auva 70s do and I am keeping them. Definitely a very noticeable change in sound, probably more than the average component level change in my opinion.

Now, onto my experience with the Auva EQ component footers. I put 4 of these under my LTA microzotl preamp and the change was all positive. These replace Orea Graphite footers. The Auva EQs are more detailed with better clarity and imaging. I was really surprised by how much better they sound. I just ordered more for my digital front end. Excited to see what they can do there. I should probably try taking them out from under my preamp and trying them there, but the sound is so good I don't want to move them from the preamp.
