So much great music stated above. I, too, am not sure how far we are going back, but Weather Report's " Heavy Weather ", played a significant role, with my intense lust for Jazz / Fusion. I was in the audio business when it was released, and it was a worthwhile demo album, for my clients. I still enjoy it, on remastered CD. Enjoy ! MrD.

@mrdecibel FWIW - It seems the aforementioned Jazz Pistols were/are fans too of Weather Report and Heavy Weather in particular. They’ve covered Birdland, Teen Town, & Palladium on various of their studio albums and all three are included on their Jazz Pistols - Live recording.
