@aniwolfe Thanks for posting. Sampled both. The Donati, in particular, a tough listen. Dave Holland's Prism a little friendlier to these ears but lost patience with the longish, slow paced intro. So much great music stated above. I, too, am not sure how far we are going back, but Weather Report's " Heavy Weather ", played a significant role, with my intense lust for Jazz / Fusion. I was in the audio business when it was released, and it was a worthwhile demo album, for my clients. I still enjoy it, on remastered CD. Enjoy ! MrD. |
