* ESS with Heil Air Motion tweeters. $100? NO bottom!
* Belle Klipsch $1100. Still have them. Talked my dad into buying them from a private party and he threw in a turntable.
* JBLs - traded for a window air conditioner!
* Magnepan MG-IC $75. Autioneer did not even know they were speakers. Asked me what I wanted the strange room dividers for. LOL. Still have them.
* Infinity Preludes? (Little speakers with powered sub on side) $600 at Computer City. Still have them. MUDDY sound! Anybody wanna buy 'em?
* Speakerlab $200 last week. I WISH someone could tell me what model they are. Tweeter and mid in front, sub-woofer in the rear with no grill. Oak cabinet. NO label of any kind except on front grill. Maybe home built but still should have a model #. Great big rock and roll sound.

I have NEVER owned a speaker that I truly love; everything has been a compromise. The Klipsch are FANTASTIC, but not for easy listening and NOT for a small room.
From 1960's through the 80's, just random crapola speakers from department stores / here & there.

Got interested in home theater in 90's and bought:

Bose Acoustimass set-up for $900.00
Then Polk Audio RT something or anothers with 15" Polk Sub, about $800.+-
Then finally B&W N 804's, B&W ASW 2500 subs, B&W HTM2 and N surrounds $9,700.
B&W 601 S3's $150.00 (used)
Audioanalyst Phase Matrix M8's (recent vintage purchase)$60.00.
