CAT Pre seeking Opinion

I am using my CAT Ultimate with Krell fpb600C...excellent..I was very inclined to sell my CAT when I auditioned the Krell KCT preamp,(KCT has much more convenient features), but after extended comparison.. the CAT was better in every respect....it also matches the Krell beautifully..

Respectfully disagree about the Krell FPB series. They have never sounded that good to my ear. I think the best advice was given earlier and that was to go listen for yourself. If you can, listen to the Pass X series as well (not the X150).

Thank you guys for your suggestions. Will eventually go around to audit those amps...just that there are too many power amps around and its tough to listen to all.
