Wadia 830 or Transport/DAC

I'm looking for a new digital front end for my system on a $2k budget. The two options I undecided on is a good used 830 or a used Theta transport and a new MSB III DAC. I am interested in any and all thoughts or ideas.

Plus you can have it modified at a later date, as I did mine, by Steve Huntley at Great Northern Sound. Awesome improvement...
