VPI Turntable Upgrade

I currently own a VPI Scoutmaster with the following options:

- VPI Scoutmaster turntable
- VPI JMW-9 Signature tonearm
- VPI Periphery Ring + VPI Center Weight
- VPI SDS
- RSA F-117 Nighthawk MM/MC phono pre-amp
- Dynavector DV-20X Low MC cartridge

Would there be any benefit in upgrading to a VPI Classic 3 and still keeping the following options:

- VPI Periphery Ring + VPI Center Weight
- VPI SDS
- RSA F-117 Nighthawk MM/MC phono pre-amp
- Dynavector DV-20X Low MC cartridge

Or would I be better off keeping my VPI Scoutmaster turntable & options and upgrading to a Lyra Delos MC cartridge?

If you have a need to upgrade, keep your turntable and cartridge, but get a set of Bearpaws ( Vermontaudio.com) and remove your minifeet and replace them with these Bearpaws. If however, you do decide to get the Classic, be sure you tell VPI you have and want to use your SDS. There is a capacitor in the motor circuit that has to be changed. My advice however, is to just do the Bearpaws.
