I heard them at Definitive a couple weeks ago. insanely good. insanely expensive. probably not having the $ is a good thing - if you hear them you'll want them.
I understand original 5A owners will be able to upgrade (almost) their 7's....new drivers and electronics, but same cabinet. I was told the result is about 80% of the 7's.
