Vandersteen 2C Grill and Power Amp questions

Correction: Creek Amp is 4140 S 2  not SE 

The "grills" are actually a sock and are not designed to be removed.

The speakers are butt-ugly with them off.

Creeks can be a little dry. Try a Musical Fidelity or a Rogue. 

That Creek, with 35 WPC may be a a bit shy on power. Would probably work, but you won’t get the most out of the 2C’s.

Not an integrated, but I matched my 2CE Sigs to an old B&K ST125.2 amp with about 130 WPC and it was really nice. Then moved onto Belles, which I sill use with my Treo’s.

The sock was voiced into the design by Richard, so would recommend keeping them on, if you need a new set, you can get them from Vandersteen.
