VAC Phi Beta 300.1 vs McIntosh MC2000 Tube Amps

These well respected stereo tube amps seem to be the competitors (in this league) from these respectable manufacturers.

Has anyone compared these amps against each other?

If so, how do these models compare in sound/performance, etc.
