Two speaker pairs to a single amplifier.

I have a two pairs of Tannoy SGM 10b speakers that I would like to connect with Manley Snappers power amp monoblocks.
According to the speakers specs their impedance is 6Ω (4Ω min.) The power amp specs don’t state the supported iImpedance range:

  • Maximum Output Power into 5 Ohms: 110 Watts (1.5% THD @ 1kHz)

  • Maximum Output Power into 8 Ohms: 100 Watts (1.5% THD @ 1kHz)

  • Recommended Speaker Load: Optimized for 5 Ohms

  • Actual Output Impedance: 1.5 Ohms

Would it be possible to connect two pairs of these Tannoy speakers to the Snappers amps? If so, what would be a proper way to connect them?

8 to 12 ohms in series YES
1.5 to 3 ohms in parallel NO

Keep the runs (cables) as short as you can. Will it work? Yes. How well will it work? Don’t know.
May start a hole ne trend! :-)
