Thoughts on Vista Audio Phono-2 preamp?

I'm royally confused. There are SO many options for preamps. I have a very humble setup, that I would like to hear more separation from (and more mid). It's kinda bright.
- Nagaoka MP-200 cartridge (MM/Moving Iron, boron cantilever, 47k loading)
- Pro-ject 1.2 TT (alum arm, added acrylic platter)
- Schitt Mani preamp
- Yamaha RX-V781 AVR (using built-in amp)
- Ascend Acoustics Sierra-2 2-way speakers (ribbon tweeter, 6" woofer).
I was thinking an Vista Audio Phono-2, or a used Phonomena II+ (if I could find one).
Any thoughts on these preamps with this setup? Many thanks!
