Tekton Design MOAB

$4500.
Moab as spelled on their site after a place in Utah but the military reference to the mother of all boxes cannot go unmentioned.
Next giant killer? Anyone heard them?

@mijostyn
Why do you comment when you have never heard them ?
What is the point ?
What is your problem ?
Nobody should be mouthing off about had bad a speaker is without hearing them. That is completely Ignorant of you.
@nitrob
The ATI amps are known to be forward and somewhat bright.
To be fair , the Tekton DI sound better with better equipment. If you were looking for musical setup ,you need better equipment and cables (more musical ) than what you had .There isn’t any speaker out IMO that reacts or shows you the difference in amps, cables ,sources ETC , better than the DI. The Tekton DI sound as good as the equipment you are using. Component and cable changes are VERY noticeable. I never feel that the DI is forward or in your face . In fact they are just the opposite in my setup.

@mijostyn
The Double Impact for example, are 4 way speakers.
1st way (or freq range)=The two 10 inch drivers are playing a freq range of maybe 10-300 hz

2nd way (or freq range) =The two 6.5 midrange drivers are maybe playing a range 300-1500 hz
3rd way (or freq range) =The 6 Tweeters in a circle are playing maybe 1500-5000 hz. These 6 all play the same freq range (all 6 together) and actually play upper middle frequencies

4th way (or freq range) = The 7th center tweeter is maybe a range of 5000 hz and above.

I am sure these freq ranges are probably not correct , but it explains the 4-way speaker setup.
The point is that the tweeters do not all play different frequencies.
Remember I have lived with the Ulfs as my reference for over two years and know them quite well. Because each speaker has four mid-bass drivers it is slightly more "full" sounding in the power range (upper bass/lower mid-range) then the Moab.
I know that i have pointed this out before , but you HAVE TO get this right as  a reviewer.
 It is THAN not THEN. More full sounding THAN the MOAB.
I am sorry but every time you use "then" where you should use "than".. you get it wrong.
@aniwolfe
Geez they are really hard to wipe off the dust and use gloves when packing them up.. They do not come with fingerprints or dust do they ? Is that too much to expect ?
You guys are impossible. You just want to be haters.
I guess haters gonna HATE, no matter what !
@dave_t4

What do you have to lose ?
Maybe you should have tried them before Badmouthing the company.
Where is the risk you speak of ?
Maybe you forgot about this :

@dave_t
So .Let me get this straight. You thought you were buying speakers with zero return policy, but now you know that they have a 60 day return policy, unless they have a custom finish, you decided not to buy them...?????
Hmmm. That makes absolutely No Sense
@dave_t
I only speak up when you say stupid things and , I did see your post .I didn’t belittle you. You did it all on your own with your post about the warranty.
You have not even heard the speaker and you are calling people a Bafoon.
I think you need to look in the mirror.
Also ..Which cables used in the Tekton Moab/Parasound setup....especially interconnect and speaker cables ?
Thanks for the info.
I believe i saw a display below the Moabs in the video that said StraightWire level 2.
Level 2 Speaker Cables would be  Soundstage, Symphony or Octave II
Levek 2 ICs are  either Symphony II or Encore II
@lancelock
Can you compare that plinius to any other amp, or tell me what you hear from it.
I have the double Impacts and I am using a Belles 150 A reference V2.
I am curious
That is also what I get from the Belles 150A Ref V2
It is capable of 125 Watts into 8 ohms and doubles to 250 into 4 ohms.
Double Impacts are 4 ohms
