As long as it is not a powered speaker there will be no difference. It will not, however, sound the same in your room as it did in a reviewers room or in a store.

I am currently looking into buying speakers from the USA ,due to the low $ .
Does it matter if you listen to a speaker on different voltage ? I mean I am from The Netherlands and we have 220 while in the USA there is 110 V .
I know you basically just plug the speaker in but still I am wondering if the difference in power makes a change in some way to the sound .
In other words...does a speaker sound different on 110 V vs 220 V ?
