+1 for 3 point feet/spikes.
However, you want minimal contact surface, but as rigid a placement as you can. That is, you don't want the speakers floating in the air. You want them rigidly fixed in the 3 dimensional space. Any sort of solid 3 point footers that allow you to adjust the tilts will work, then add 20-40 lbs of weight to the speakers. :)
