Well obviously "best" will be very subjective and highly debatable. Perhaps you could tell us what kind of music you listen to, what your sonic priorities are, how loud you usually listen, etc. This may help with some recommendations.
I don't know that I agree that "most speakers will work in that room". That is a very large room, and will take some fairly efficient full range speakers to fill it with music.
