Simple passive crossover + Tact RCS?

I have been wondering if it is possible to design a simple and efficient speaker system without any corrections in the crossover for driver and box resonance frequencies, thus keeping efficiency high and time spent on the crossover low. Also, it would be nice to be able to just get the best sounding drivers together, rather than paying a lot of attention to the compatibility of their rated efficiency. Of course, the system would sound pretty bad under normal circumstances, but what if you corrected this with a Tact RCS? I suppose a fairly powerful amp would be necessary to iron out the bumps and suckouts, but other than that, I don't see much wrong with this plan. What sort of filter would be best in this sort of setup?

I guess I'm not really answering your question, but, from what I understand TacT's own speakers don't incorporate internal cross-overs. They are designed into the RCS.
