Search for Linn Record albums but none are displayed

When I search for Linn Records on my Aurender N20 Music Server (in Album Favorites, using the search area in the upper right hand corner), no Linn Record albums are displayed.

Clare Martin Believin’it is from Linn Records and is not displayed. Another example, is the Scottish chamber music Mozart symphonies nos 38-41 albums is produced by Linn Records. When I search for Reference Recordings, their albums are displayed. Blue Coast albums are also displayed. The Search works for most label producers but NOT for Linn Records.

What am I doing wrong? My friend has an Aurender W20 and reports the same issue. I also sent an email to QoBuz and Aurender Customer Support. Thanks.

When I access Qobuz via their website and search "Label" for "Linn Records" it displays a huge number of their albums. Maybe the problem is with the Aurender app.

@bill_k , Thanks.  Great point.  I am waiting for Aurender customer support to respond.

Get thee a copy of Blue Nile, Walk .....

I pre-ordered it when it was announced, couldn't find my copy, bought a new LP, then found my original.

Aurender Customer Support reports “label is not a searchable field on the Conductor App”.

When I visit the QoBuz Web browser, I CAN search on labels for ’Linn Records, Blue Coast, Reference Recordings, etc.’. It seems many albums from these labels are available but they are NOT being displayed by the Aurender Conductor App when I search on label. This means for the QoBuz Weber browser, label is a searchable field. For Example, searching for Linn records on QoBuz browser displays a long list of albums by Linn Records.

I am NOT interested in searching my library and am looking for ALL available alums on QoBuz for specific table types like Reference Recordings, Blue Coast, etc.

I asked Aurender Customer Support "Why is the label name a SEARCHABLE field on the Qobuz browser and NOT a searchable field on the Conductor App? Searching by label is an important feature of the Conductor App. When I search on a specific label, the ONLY albums that should appear are the ones from that label. If searching by label is currently not a searchable field, can the Conductor App (API) be updated to make labels a searchable field exactly like the QoBuz web browser?"

I like albums by Reference Recordings (and others), for example, and believe that label searching by label is a needed feature of the Conductor App. Are others interested in searching by label? thanks..

Aurender Customer Supports reports their Conductor App DOES NOT support searching by record label.  We found the record label search option on the QoBuz "web player", but it is not available on the QoBuz mobile app (I could not find it).

I told Aurender that searching by label is an important feature for the Conductor App. When I search on a specific label, the ONLY albums that should appear are the ones from that record label.  I requested Aurender update the Conductor App (API) to make record labels a searchable field EXACTLY like the QoBuz web browser.

Aurender Customer Support DOES NOT know if the QoBuz API allows their access the record label field.  This might be an issue since searching by record label is not available in the Qobuz mobile App.  I suggested Aurender contact QoBuz AND investigate further.

In any case, I asked QoBuz if the QoBuz API used by Aurender in the Conductor App provides ACCESS to the record label field.   IF it does not, would Qobuz consider making it available for Aurender to use in the Conductor App (assuming this is possible)? Obviously, my request is more complicated than I expected.   Thanks.

As per Aurender Customer Support, the Aurender Conductor App does not have access to the record label search field.

I sent 2 emails to Qubuz support asking "does the QoBuz API used by Aurender in the Conductor App provide ACCESS to the record label field. IF it does not, would Qobuz consider making it available for Aurender to use in the Conductor App (assuming this is possible)”.   Qobuz has NOT responded.

I feel that that searching by label is an important feature for the Conductor App. When I search on a specific label, the ONLY albums that should appear are the ones from that label. I requested Aurender update the Conductor App (API) to make record labels a searchable field EXACTLY like the QoBuz web browser (product enhancement request).

We found the record label search option on the QoBuz "web player", but it is not available on the QoBuz mobile app (I could not find it).

The Qobuz mobile app has a feature that isn't adequate for a search, but might be useful for some small labels — you can bring up a list of the entire catalog of a record label. Open any album from the record label you're interested in, and scroll down to the bottom of the track list. You will see "Recorded by", followed by the name of the record label, which is a hotlink. If you tap on it, it brings up all the albums of the record label. Even a small record label may have several hundred albums, so this really more for browsing than searching.
