I am truely sorry to hear about Richards passing as this is the first I have heard. I met him at a audio shop near where I was working, the Audio Den I believe, on Long Island in the late 70's. He was, and I hate to use the word 'demo' a pair of Obelisk. I left there after hours with three loves, classical music, the
Obelisk and Richard. It took many years to finally get a pair and over the years I kept getting newer pairs and have had three or four pairs to my present and now own a pair of Hawks for main stereo, Obelisk for the second and have a pair of Arc's in my office at work.
I have been to the new shop and have spent time with Vaskin, who shares Richards enthusism with music. My sincere condolences to his entire family. The audio family has lost a true giant.
