There is no real standard on analog output db level or gain. It is likely that your new SACD player does not have a very high output level on the analog outputs.
quieter signal from analog xlr than from digital on sacd player
Hi...w/o product names...when switching between xlr output (dual mono dac) and digital on my new sacd player...digital sounds louder. On my other unit, I do not experience that ie. both sound about the same. What does this mean?...manufacturer cranked up analog output volume to be close with digital?
