I have heard that these maggies are not very dynamic. If I added a sub to these maggies could I get those dynamics like with cone speakers?? Thanks for your responds!
I have a pair of Maggie 1.6 and feel that they are very dynamic. Have you listened to a pair yet? One thing with Maggies are that they love good clean power. I'm using a Odyssey Stratos amp that is 260w/4 ohm and drives the Maggies beautifuly!
I had 1.6's and they definitely benefitted from a sub, for low-end punch. REL is good. They just don't have it even with kiloatts feeding them. I was using 500 watts. -Ed
