We had a couple threads here recently talking about static electricity in the winter, A3 has metal buttons etc. Try touching shelf/audio rack before touching CDP controls to discharge static when you change CDs.......not sure if this is causing your problem but worth a try.
Problems with MF A3 CD Player
My 18 month old A3 CD Player is producing a crackling noise intermittently through both channels (although not necessarily at the same time) It's definitely the cd player rather then anyother componet (hours of testing) has any one else suffered similar problems?
