Pioneer DVD transport DVD-V4700 Owners Manual

Bought one of these several weeks ago on EBay, where they seem to be ALL GONE now ...
Can anyone here share how they "programmed" it to use with a DAC ? Does now seem very clear from user manual.

Has anyone here used it for DVD playback ? Did you get a better picture from your all in one DVD player ? I have an OPPO, love it but always looking for better ...

AND, if any one here wants a copy of the manual, shoot me an email - I am going to scan a copy and will be happy to send it out via PDF when I get a chance to scan it - 43 pp!

Thanks for any advice on using this as transport for both CD's and DVD's !!
