Cannot speak to cable research labs but did have the Nordost Tyr phono cable on loan from the cable company for about two to three weeks. It is a good cable but ultimately I went for the Hovland MusicGroove2(now no longer in production, though the company was bought out so it may come back) That worked much better in my system and was cheaper. Check the archives for that and also for SeaBreeze both are rated high.
