the NAD has a USB DAC, the Onkyo does not. That would be the only reason to go for the NAD, if you don't need a USB DAC get the Onkyo. looks like the Onkyo's power ratings into four ohms are better than the NAD's, which is unexpected. they both have pre outs, I can't see a reason to go for the NAD other than the USB DAC.

New amp just came out. Looks to have a lot of features and very nice price. Built in DAC too (but who knows if that's a good or a bad thing?). I have an older cheaper Onkyo receiver and it's time to upgrade....Would this come close to a nice NAD C 356DAC for instance? Thanks for any thoughts.
