I love Nick Drake, and Clothes of Sand is one of my favorite songs. This version was pleasant, but I think that while it worked better than I would have expected as a piano solo piece, the playing and arrangement could have been better.

50th Anniversary of Nick Drake’s Pink Moon
50 Years ago today Nick Drake’s final album Pink Moon was released on Island Records....25th February 1972.
One year & 8 months later, at the age of 26, he OD’d on antidepressants leaving this earth without ever getting to know how many people would eventually cherish his music.
I love this record so much to the point that last year I finally released “Pink Moon, a Journey on Piano” reimagining Nick’s original on piano to try and offer something back to the magic that was Nick Drake.
The original is only 27minutes long….. Go give ‘Pink Moon’ a listen today
