MA7000 or MC252/c220 for B&W 803S?

I listened to the 803S's with Mc MC501 and loved the soundstage and laid back silky smooth qualities. But, the 501's are beyond my means. My dealer does not have either of the other options I'm considering. Has anyone A/B'd these amp combo's with the B&W 803S's? Which set up would most resemble the sound of the dual 501's?
