Lumin Amp

Hello,
I took my Aesthetx Atlas Eclipse back to my dealer for repair, and he offered me to take home the Lumin Amp to try it with my X1 until they fix the Atlas.

I did not know anything about it and to be honest I did not expect too much from a "little" amp like this but I am pleasantly surprised.
It sounds more transparent and detailed and it is not too harsh at all, except on some lower quality recordings.
The Atlas is more fluid and warmer but it would be difficult to choose, both have their advantages.

Does anyone else have this Amp, or has compared it with other amps?

I was wondering the same thing if anyone has this AMP? I have an X1 too. Dang happy with that.

Yes, I had the AMP paired with my X1 for a year. Looong break in period, maybe 400-500 hours but honestly I stopped paying attention to the hours as it opened up more and more. End result is a perfect match for the X1, a synergy that I haven’t been able to replicate since. If it weren’t for the damned disease (Upgradeitis) I’d still own it and would have saved 1000’s.

I too suffer and enjoy Upgradeitis. Currently I have a lovely punchy intergraded that’s lovely and all tubey. But…..

What preceded the Lumin Amp? What came after and is the sound better? Speakers? Room? The usuals? TIA

Fully treated (maybe too much?) 14x22x10 Room

X1--> Rogue RP9--> DragoN--> Raidho XT1 + REL S/510

X1--> DragoN--> Raidho XT1 + REL S/510

X1--> AMP--> Raidho TD1.2 + Dual S/510's

X1--> AAVIK U-300--> Raidho TD3.2 + Dual 212/SX

Yes, the AAVIK might have been marginally better but it lost it's re-sale value so quickly that I sold it in less than a year.
