Low output MC for For Rega RP6

The TT in my second system is a slightly modded Rega RP6. I've been using a high output Dynavector 10 x 5 for a few years. I recently acquired a SUT and would like to find a suitable cartridge. I know that many people have noted that for some reason Grado carts don't work well with Regas. Are there others to avoid as well as suggestions for medium priced and compatible carts?

Thanks in advance,

Alan

I have used Shelter 501 and Ortofon Quintet Black on mine and both sounded excellent. Of the two I preferred Shelter sound. Ortofon is no slouch but the Tonearm had to be raised at the tail by about 5mm for it to sound right. Ortofon is mated to an ST-7  SUT.
what model SUT? It's specs?

MC cartridges have two critical specs: signal strength; and coil impedance.

We need to know about your SUT to ascertain what cartridge signal strength and what cartridge coil impedance it is good for.

Some SUT's are adjustable, for a variety of cartridges, some are only set for one type of cartridge
