John Mellencamp - question

I have been an avid of John Mellencamp's since the early eighties and have seen him in concert numerous times and he was always very good. My question to anybody who might know is ; why hasn't he ever come out with a live album ???? I think it would be very welcome by his fans. Just a thought.....
