High fidelity REVEAL interconnects

For $699 HF costumer service, said it can compete with the Odin, apparently this cable is available for shipping a week before Christmas?      Agoners any opinion?

Setting hear listening to the Reveals on my phono pre-amp and they sound wonderful with little play.  The combination of CT 1 speaker cables and the Reveal cables take my system to a new level.  These are the best cables I have ever heard or used, "already".

My most recent were Exemplar Audio's Exception IC's.  They are a great bang for the buck!  However, the Reveals are on a different level.  I have used many brands over the years but the CT1E and the Reveals are the best I have used.

I describe the Reveals by saying they place you closer to the live event.  Revealing but organic.  Music just flows and you get more of it.  The soundstage is wide, deep and although you get excellent instrument location they retain their musicality.  I can only imagine what the higher level models sound like.

Yes, I can't wait to hear the feedback on the A/B test.  Even if the Reveals are just close that says a lot.

I am planning on adding the adaptors on the ends as well when I can.  That will increase performance as well.

The other issue is what will the Reveals sound like with 300 hours on them???

I believe once these break in fully they will be something special.  Considering their price I just don't know how they will be bettered.  Mine have only about 6 hours.  I have them on my phono preamp so it is going to take a while.  However, they sound really good already.

The$1599 price is correct for 2.5m.  You can have additional waveguides installed on the Reveal SC but I understand there an additional cost.

The Reveal IC's are supposed to continue to get better from 200-600 hours.  If that is the case these will be something special.

My brother-in-law and I were doing some critical listening last night (I am using the Reveal IC's on my phono pre-amp) and they were sounding great.  Revealing, detailed but very natural sounding.  IMHO once you get used to this type of sound it would be hard to go back to traditional sounding cabling.

At the end of the day everyone needs to build their system to their taste. No right or wrong if you prefer a certain IC, SC etc.  However, I believe these cables are doing some things that all of the other traditional cables I have owned or used did not do for "my systems".  That is what makes this hobby so much fun and frustrating.
Adaptors on the Reveals (connected to integrated amp end).  More presence and more relaxed presentation.  Not what I call dramatic but for sure noticeable.

Any one planning on trying the new Reveal power cords.  I believe they can work on amps and sources.  $999 1M.

I believe it will be a good decision but that does not discount the quality of Shunyata or for that matter other products.  At the end of the day it is what sounds best to you.  I have to say however, that I am really sold on the HFC.

misterbritt:  thanks for the informative response.  I believe addressing power first and then the remainder of the chain is the way to go.  Unless you are willing to install each cable a piece at time there will be no way to really compare what you have to the HFC.  However, I believe you will be able to compare the system as  whole.  I am very interested in the power cords.  I currently have the Shunyata Research - Venom Digital on my Oppo 105D.  My goal is to add the Reveal pc to my Oppo and my phono-preamp as soon as I can.  I can say that the HFC is something special.
It is hard to compare because the CT1E's are connected to my Oppo 105D and the Reveals are connected to my phono pre-amp.  I have not switched them to compare because the CT1E's are not long enough to reach my integrated.  I would say the CT1E's edge them out but it is not a slam dunk.

I had both my CT1E interconnects and my CT1 speaker cables treated with the burn in process and the results are noticeable.
